Genna Design
Architecture is a major influence in my
work which inspires both geometric forms and organic sculptures.
Movement is also a prominent force where rare coloured stones can be moved
along the labyrinths of my work.
My pieces are tactile, playful and sculptural.
I enjoy working with precious metals such as silver and gold. However, I
also love to incorporate non-precious materials such as plastics; glass,
resins as well as stone settings.
I am constantly challenging the boundaries of jewellery design, producing
both one off/commission and commercial pieces.

I am a
self-taught jewellery maker and I have been based in Edinburgh for the past six
years.
I enjoy using wire, semi-precious stones, crystals and my own hand made beads in
my work. All of my designs are unique and no two items are the same.
I make necklaces, bracelets, brooches, ear-rings and rings which would be
perfect for weddings, special occasions and every-day use.

Teresa Dickson, the designer behind mimi pearl, is influenced by the marriage of the old and the new, 1920's to 1940's glamour and black and white photographs amongst many things. Each piece produced will always maintain mimi pearls signature style of being delicate, sparkly, with a collection of beads married together and more often than not in muted colours, black or white.

The work is made from silver and coloured silk thread and some gold. The designs
created are very tactile and sit very well when worn.

more affordable pieces which incorporate the same colourful, tactile qualities.
